Pros

- Outstanding company culture where everyone truly functions as a part of a team - Incredibly thorough onboarding and training program that really sets you up for success - Always feel fully supported in every way - Remote-first company with all of the right structures in place to where you never feel isolated or forgotten - You always know where you stand and what it takes to perform in your role at a high level

Cons

I have to say that I haven't run into any cons as of yet, but I'm still fairly new here.

You know, what you outlined is all we strive to do - provide a safe and creative environment where smart people can contribute. We have to trust that each team is going to provide their part from recruitment, to training, to operations. It sounds like that is happening, and while we are not surprised we are thrilled to hear it. We couldn't help but notice that you have a neutral view of our business outlook and we'll take that as a challenge to both communicate our strategy and exceed expectations. Thank you for the review and for being a part of this team.

Great Culture

Pros

The culture of the company is truly excellent, uplifting, professional and forward thinking.

Cons

My immediate supervisor was the quintessential micro manager. There was not much in the way of respect for anyone else's opinions so team meetings largely consisted of one-way communication. While the culture of the company as a whole was positive, the culture of our team was intense, uncomfortable and not conducive to collaboration.

We are happy that you enjoyed your time with Feedonomics and agree that we strive every day to make our culture great and look for improvement. It is great to see your comments about our culture being “excellent, uplifting, professional and forward thinking.” One of the ways we have adhered to “when you are on top of your game, change your game” mantra is by implementing a Leadership Development program which includes people manager training. So while we are surprised by your feedback - we are happy to say that this initiative was already underway. We continually let all of our people know that we have an open door to speak to our dedicated People Empowerment Team, including an open door to our CEO, to discuss any concerns, including some of the issues you highlighted. We are surprised that you did not escalate these concerns to any of us, as we can assure you we would have been able to help facilitate a better environment for you, or provide clear feedback to you as to the need for the over involvement of your manager. One of the key tenets of our engineering team ethos is self empowerment, and our software engineers are given the freedom to make the best decisions for their projects based on a very clear understanding of our prioritization roadmap. The only time there may be instances of “micromanagement” will be with newer team members who are still learning, or engineers who are not coding to our standard or within the scope of the engagement. As we continue on our journey as a company, we will continue to evaluate the effectiveness and environment of each and every team. We are truly committed to every Feedo’s growth both personally and professionally and we hope that you are finding that in your new endeavors.

Pros

Feedonomics has been an amazing company to work at. I have never worked at a company where I have thoroughly enjoyed all my coworkers and felt fully supported by them and my managers. There is so much room for growth and many opportunities to give back to the company in order to make it better. Great benefits, great culture, okay pay - fully remote! I feel this company enables anyone to succeed at their job and prepares them for any job beyond. This is singlehandedly the best company I've worked for.

Cons

Feedonomics is growing a lot! It can be hard to keep track of all the new people coming onboard.
