Pros

The culture and community that Feedonomics encourages and enables great development as a company and individually. The leadership team actively engages with the members of their teams to make sure they are doing the best possible job. I was amazed by their transparency and communication, including sharing survey results to all employees and monthly meetings that openly discussed the strengths and areas for improvement. The main thing that especially stands out in Feedonomics is that the leadership really cares about their people and puts a tremendous effort to make sure people are happy and growing while working there. They have a dedicated People Empowerment department, whose primary role is to provide an outlet for communication and to ensure that they are in touch with all team members.

Cons

The company is growing very fast so employees who are not used to a fast-paced environment may feel overwhelmed.

A heartfelt disappointment from a dark horse company

Pros

1. Ability to offer some learning opportunity for someone like me who has less experience 2. Focus on instilling the family culture , which is unfortunately not effective anymore 3. A team of visionary old guards (aka founders and CEO) 4. Work from home 5. Talented pool of hard working, new and old, employees

Cons

Being associated with the fastest growing department that handles big and profitable accounts, it pains to spell out the cons. Here you go: 1. The most defining aspect of Feedonomics, family culture, has started losing its sheen lately, which vexes me to my core. 2. A cluster of new senior and middle management brought echo-chamberish perspective and no relatable/portable experience, along with animosity, and self-benefiting agenda. The new middle management seems to credit hack our ideas or the success of our work, silent our concerning voice, demean our opinion, put us through more work with what appears to be a false promise, and cold heartedly unavailable for any support. 3. It is my growing concern that my department has become a revolving door to talents who were looking for a great place to work. I lost many great, dedicated colleagues. All the glowing positive reviews in last few months, in my opinion, are not the true reflection of the current state of the company. 4. In all fairness, the top level senior management did take some actions such as holding exit interviews and installing people empowerment manager to garner grassroot level feedbacks. But with all due respect, the exit interview is too little too late, and institutionalizing empowerment role is only useful if employees can share feedback without fear of retaliation. 5. Back scratching, favoritism, and cronyism are growing unchecked, seemingly under the tutelage of new senior and middle management. It is stifling creativity, openness, and camaraderie.

With an absolute dedication to creating a culture of transparency and openness, we are saddened to see that your experience with us was not favorable for you. Feedonomics is by no means perfect but we have made a substantial investment in ensuring that all of our people are heard and have a voice to help us continuously improve. In a recent anonymous pulse survey responded to by over 96% of our teams, we received an industry leading rating across the board with some great suggestions and feedback as to where we can continue to improve. All of this feedback from the survey was shared openly with all of the Company and action plans have been developed to ensure we continue to improve every day. As you mentioned, we have a dedicated People Empowerment Manager whose sole role is to ensure that ALL of our people are being heard and to create a forum for them to provide management with ongoing feedback. Since the inception of this hire, we have implemented 360 review surveys for grass roots staff to rate and provide suggestions for improvement to their supervisors and managers. Your review was very detailed, however it seems like a one star rating didn't really align with some of the other comments you made. “Don't get me wrong. It is still a great place to work”. That is what we are dedicated to ensuring every day. With that being said, we do take the feedback seriously and will continue holding ourselves to the highest possible standards. That is why our CEO continues to meet with every single person in the company. With an employee retention rate of over 95%, we are still fortunate to be keeping our most valuable asset, our people. We continue to encourage an open door policy, and we are continuously asking our people how we are doing and how we can do better. When our people are looking for new challenges we always attempt to find opportunities in other areas of the company.
