      Good technology and business model is attractive in market place

      Cons

      Lot's of human in the loop intervention (including your sales time) is required to lay groundwork for executing modest sized deals and supporting your enterprise customers.

      Thank you for taking the time to write Fictiv a review on Glassdoor. It is important for us to hear what we are doing well and what we need to improve on. We take every comment seriously to make internal changes to improve. We have focused on having much deeper conversations with our customers about their future needs and projects. As such, sales cycles can get longer and more complex. This can require more people and more marketing and IT infrastructure to support these conversations. Depending on the sales role that the person is being hired for, they approach their job with different levels of complexity and have different areas of focus. - Director of People Operations

      Burnout alert!

      Pros

      Love the people and transparency. Opinions are respected and encouraged.

      Cons

      People are leaving due to burnout. Too many meetings. Everything is always urgent. No concept of work-life balance/harmony. Forget about seeing your kid even though you are working from home. Fictiv doesn’t even pay that well to justify the complete lack of family life. Several people left within a few months of joining. People regularly respond after hours. Everybody is overworked, plain and simple.

      - Smart, caring and talented group of individuals working at an IC level - CEO seems to genuinely care about the team's health and individuals - Great deal of trust and transparency with the company's metrics

      Cons

      - Focus on DE&I has been just surface level. There has been a lot of talk for many years, but very little actual work to back up that talk. It's very disappointing. - An insane amount of politics for a relatively small organization. Senior leaders don't seem to see eye to eye and cause confusion with their words and actions. - A large amount of time spent on reporting to management each week.

      We appreciate you taking time to let us know how we're doing so we can take action where needed and continue doing what we are where things are going well. Regarding DE&I, we have hired two employees who will focus directly on employee experience, so we can move faster and deeper in this area. One just started a few weeks ago and the other is starting in a couple weeks. We are truly committed to DE&I and have many plans in place for our employee experience team to move forward.
