      A Fairly Nice Call Center w/a Start-Up Type of Atmosphere

      Pros

      - Lots of snacks, drinks, games and comfy seats in the breakroom. - Outside balcony to eat lunch and decompress. - Most of the people are nice and helpful. - Employer-paid insurance that provides pretty good coverage. - Parking stipend. - A couple of parking garages for paid parking. - Employer-paid notary training. - Lots of overtime. - Free gym in the building. - A fair amount of PTO is provided. - Casual dress code.

      Cons

      - They used to have healthy snacks, but now it's 90% junk food. - Training seemed thorough until new products were introduced, and then there were mostly crash courses. - Lots of attrition due to the amount of work vs. pay. - Shift bids. - There is virtually no downtime. - There does not appear to be a clear path, training or feedback to foster growth. - Not a lot of diversity and there are no Employee Resource Groups. - Metric-driven atmosphere that does not appear to focus on the strengths of the employee. - Not a lot of feedback on how to improve when mistakes are reported by Quality Assurance. - Hard to find parking in downtown Reno. - Processes and procedures change rapidly and there is not a lot of time to read the changes that are posted due to the volume.

      Well Positioned to Upend the Capital Markets Industry

      Pros

      It is cliché to say, but if you thrive in a startup environment i.e. fast paced, rapid change, rapid priority changes, and some ambiguity, Figure could be a great place for you. The people here are a big part of what keeps me here. - they're genuinely kind, operate with empathy, and are some of the best in their field. Figure is doing some cutting edge things that don't yet have a lot of regulation, so it's both exciting and a bit of a roller coaster. It's a great opportunity to get in the blockchain/crypto world!

      Cons

      Benefits are great, but salary could be more competitive considering we're a well funded, late stage, and profitable startup.
