Pros

Unparalleled responsibility on day 1. Interaction with C-suite execs immediately. Associate-level work in the analyst years. Pay after bonus tops WS average.

Cons

Hours are grueling, so expect to make the job your #1 priority above all else.

Pros

- High degree of responsibility as a junior employee - Most work directly related to active engagements, very little pitch-book creation - Great, smart coworkers - Increasingly making an effort to ensure junior employees have better training, work / life balance, resources to learn

Cons

- Extremely demanding - Very little free time for anything outside of work - Limited training other than basic "Training the Street" program
