      Every transaction offers an opportunity to build character, integrity, and trust. If you truly enjoy working with people, you can really help them with everyday needs With consistent fairness, intelligence, and patience, you can help build repeat business based on appreciation and a sense of community.

      Cons

      The cult of shop manager can make or break a store. With over ten years of experience and 10 shop managers, the everyday experience can be sublime to awful. Sometimes upper management is unaware of the manager/team success of a particular store or they have ulterior motives. The medical and dental benefits are okay but not anywhere close to what the medical establishment charges. Management increasingly stingy with pay increases and honoring time off. The original family culture of operating a pawnshop (and not a retail business) has largely disappeared. The original Texas crew is sorely missed.

      Ok pay, great vacation plan, Decent benefits, energetic atmosphere, challenging, discounted merchandise, somewhat ok hours for management and some opportunity for growth

      Cons

      Changes in recent structures has left the core of the company in shambles. Our core value of "We are family" has turned into "How can we pay people less and create more revenue." Recent changes in bonus plans for management has decreased pay across the board. Day to day business will wear a person down. Some of the customers are genuine people, most are lacking integrity and cannot be trusted. Upper management has their hands tied by new comers that honestly have no business being in this industry. This has lead to the crumble of the "Once, awesome company to work for."
