Pros

If you lack integrity and can last long enough you'll probably get a promotion.

Cons

No integrity. They are the epitome of everything bad you've heard about Wall Street Landlords. They continue to buy more homes than they are staffed for and continuously turnover and burn out employees. They are knowingly making decisions that negatively effect employees mental health and work life balance. Their employee retention plan is to lock employees into Non-compete clauses so they are unable to find another job and are currently suing former employees that have left FirstKey Homes for a better opportunity after signing a non-compete. They shut off utilities on their residents on a scale that warrants a class action lawsuit in my opinion. Their positive online reviews are incentivized to overcome the bad reviews left by residents and employees.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We value our employees' feedback and are sorry to learn about your experience. Our employees' wellness and work-life balance are vital. It's precisely the reason we remain focused on hiring talent in line with our growth and provide a comprehensive selection of health benefits, including a free employee assistance program to help employees find balance in their work and personal life. We frequently encourage everyone to enjoy their time away from work by offering a minimum of 15 days of paid time off, in addition to 11 paid company holidays, two paid floating holidays, and two paid volunteer days. We are constantly striving to do better too. In this spirit, we are deeply honored to be named a 2021 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Top Workplace based on employee feedback to the AJC. As a proud AJC Top Workplace, it is necessary to point out that we haven't sued employees for exploring opportunities outside our company. Saying otherwise would be unequivocally false. We are also equally proud of our industry-first and the highest current all-time 4.1 sentiment score awarded to us by the public and our residents, affirming our dedication to outstanding service and why residents continue to choose FKH. We wholeheartedly believe in giving our family of residents a place to call home as caring and compassionate professionals. While we neither turn off utilities nor have the capability to do it, we have made it our mission to support our family of residents facing financial hardships with a voluntarily company-funded rental assistance program staffed by a dedicated Resident Care Team. This assistance alone totals $15 million to date, including debt forgiveness, waived late fees, rent deferment, and a transition program with pre-relocation payment. In addition to our resident assistance program, we also help in-need residents obtain essential state emergency rental and utility assistance. Our commitment to fortifying FirstKey Homes’ culture is unwavering, rooted in our values of integrity, kindness, teamwork, accountability, inclusion, and excellence. We're here for you if you'd like to discuss your concerns. We also understand some conversations with HR or a manager might be uncomfortable, so we encourage you to contact our confidential third-party ethics reporting hotline administered by Navex Global. You can contact them by phone at 844-761-7263 or online at firstkeyhomes.ethicspoint.com. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. It helps us make FirstKey Homes a better company. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to rate and review but I am sad to read your Cons and would love to better understand why you feel the environment is toxic. We work hard to make our work place one of the best to ensure success for company and employees both. If we have failed, we'd like to understand. Can you please email socialmedia@firstkeyhomes.com and let me know what is going on that makes you feel the daily environment is toxic? Thank you, Scott
