Pros

Great director and trainer. Very positive attitudes and genuinely helpful, across these two positions.

Cons

Does not listen to workers side very much. Heiarchy in workforce where workers didn't always feel they were treated right. A lot of commuting.

Pros

The staff is very welcoming and always willing to help if you have a question or are unsure about programs or anything at all. I enjoyed the friendly and positive atmosphere here. I thought it was so great and encouraging how everyone puts what's best for the kiddo first, they truly care for them and it shows through their honest work. There is room for growth within the company which is pretty cool, most people within the office were Instructors before becoming leads, trainers, scheduling, or even PD's which is good for someone who is new because they completely understand how difficult the first 3-6 months can be! They are great resources and they do recognize if you reach out for extra help which can benefit you towards your performance review. The work can be stressful at times but it's definitely worth it, once you build solid rapport with the kiddos - it is so awesome to witness their successes and overcome obstacles that you've been working on with them. Truly something you will cherish and love the most about this job.

Cons

Not so much a con, but something to be aware about if you haven't done this field of work or the particular position of being a Instructor - there is a lot of driving throughout the day depending on your teams or last minute covers but they do keep in mind of your commute and they are flexible about your locations if you communicate with them.

Pros

The positive and meaningful impact you have on the kids and families you work with. Program directors are usually pretty great at answering questions and addressing issues related to the caseload immediately.

Cons

Administrative staff can often be condescending and unthoughtful of instructors. There are a lot of last minute covers where you're sent to random cases that are often a recipe for disaster because you're not familiar with the client. It's not a good feeling to have you're schedule in place but then to have it changed at the last minute through an abrupt message. Also, a con is to have to drive so much all over Los Angeles.
