Pros

You interact with other instructors who love their job and want to progress in the field; Training is intensive, which clinically prepares you for starting out in the field; The scheduling team is amazing and really does work with you (especially if you are an instructor that is willing to work with them); Some directors are amazing and their job and continuously assist you professionally and emotionally; Great communication within the office and between staff; Lots of opportunity for upward mobility

Cons

Some directors are not great at their job and do the bare minimum; Very difficult to follow through and be good at your job when you are not receiving support on all sides; When starting this job, you will most likely not be working full time and you are not told that there will be holes in your schedule where you are not assigned to a client (if you stick it out past the first 6 months, this gets way better); You do not receive the evaluations that you are promised, which makes it difficult to argue for a raise

Pros

Working with the families was rewarding. Some of my coworkers were great and I was always learning.

Cons

The work environment could get a little "mean girls" and there seemed to be a lot of secrets with upper management. Once I was at a work luncheon and I was privy to several directors smack talking about previous employees in front of myself and other instructors. I learned to trust no one.

Pros

Top notch programming for clients. If you are looking to learn more about ABA you definitely will here. Very high expectations of performance across all positions.

Cons

Very exclusive, cliquey atmosphere around the office. Upper staff would tell you something was going to happen (e.g. regarding clients, future at company, etc.) and these things never ended up happening. The majority of their lessons and programming are based off of a model from another company's, but they act as if the programming ideas are their own original ideas.
