The training programs are excellent; very hands on and thorough. The working environment is collaborative and supportive. There are many research opportunities available and room for growth within the company.

Cons

The job involves a lot of driving, but the scheduling team tries to minimize that as much as possible.

The vibe across offices is fun, forward thinking, and inspiring! Upper management encourages and supports individual professional growth. FirstSteps operates under the highest clinical and ethical standards. Staff exudes passion and dedication to the children and families we work with. This is a professional and drama free work environment that models, teaches and expects excellence. Team members are supportive and encouraging of one another while also creating a professional and fun work environment.

Cons

Schedule and commute flexibility is often necessary. Due to the training intensity and dedication to our families it is best to offer at least a year commitment to this type of job.

Everyone is incredibly invested in the success of the kiddos Collaborative team members; supervisors respect opinions of ALL team members FUN work environment, and fun and energetic employees Thorough and rigorous classroom and field training All of the Program Directors have their BCBAs and DIRECTLY supervise the instructors! So important.

Cons

Driving, but it's actually much less than other companies. And the addition of center-based services decreases drive time!
