      Not good for long term...

      Pros

      It is a good place to get your teeth cut. You'll be exposed to a lot of different projects depending on your work and your section (there are many divisions in Flextronics). I had the opportunity to work with very good co-workers and experienced engineers.

      Cons

      It is a very demanding environment and you may be required to work extra hours. This may become the norm if you have several projects in the pipeline. People getting laid off is not unusual and constant re-organization is the norm. You just don't focus on it otherwise you'd get really dizzy. I don't think it is a company that is good for any long term plans.

      lots of work, cant think of anything else that is really a pro.

      No life, no appreciation, low pay, no respect..just not a good environment

      Pros

      Stability if you are not a contractor. Good for someone who is good at brushing off responsibility and avoiding taking ownership.

      Cons

      Low pay. Good people don't stay. People here are at best mediocre. Toxic culture. All about pushing away responsibilities. Doing more gets you more work, not rewards. Don't believe the company will do the right thing. The management does not appreciate employees. They abuse those who are willing to do more. They do not recognize those who did a great job, but they act fast when they yell at people. They are also spineless and too busy kissing the customers' rear.
