      Software license optimization space is exciting

      Pros

      Good salaries and benefits. Nice offices and work environment. company is doing exciting things in the software license optimization space.

      Cons

      Created the software license optimization space, but other areas of the business have slowing growth. Engineering and support resources are stretched thin.

      Pros

      Most folks are very supportive and collaborative. I learned a lot from others on the team, although it was very much on they fly...in scramble mode.

      Cons

      Processes are very immature in many areas. Employees tend to feel unappreciated. There were two rounds of layoffs during my tenure. Other PMs with less experience were hired a couple of months prior to the layoffs but management chose to layoff the more senior PMs.
