      Great people, exciting challenges, and a bright future

      Pros

      - Cool office environment close to train and shops. Good food options close by (Hope you like Asian food). - Supportive senior and local management, combined with motivated and intelligent co-workers bring the best out of you. It's like a big family supporting each other, working towards common goals. - The company is transitioning from large monoliths to a modern architecture. There is never a shortage of exciting new work on the horizon. - Global travel opportunities. - Self development is a priority. - Jim Ryan has to be one of the best CEOs I've worked for.

      Cons

      - Some really old tech which can be boring to work with, however there is a shift towards new tools and processes recently. - Hard to break down the product silos. There are people who have been doing the same job for years, and it's difficult to get them to see the benefits of new processes and tools. - Being based in Melbourne means you're regularly working odd hours to meet with US colleagues. - I feel that the US based staff have better benefits than the rest of the world. - No local HR staff means you're dealing with Indian based HR who don't truly understand the people, local conditions or expectations.
