      A Dynamic company transforming to a truly SaaS based organisation.

      Pros

      Flexera is changing into a truly cloud centric company, this generates a lot of opportunities around helping that transformation. Very much a company where candour is appreciated and there is a willingness to learn and improve how we communicate and do things internally and externally. That being said, they are also supportive if you just want to turn up and just get on and do what you are good at if that's what drives you. There is a fantastic friendly culture where I have only seen encouragement. Although the US is the core of the business and there is a strong US culture, it also embraces its global footprint and diverse staff cultures so is not as full on "American" as other US tech companies I've worked for. All in all, I've found the 18m I've been at Flexera some of the most personally rewarding time I've had in my long career.

      Cons

      There are still some small pockets in the organisation where they haven't embraced change, but they are disappearing fast.

      A great company with ambitious plans

      Pros

      Great benefits, a fantastic culture, and striving to do great things. The leadership team have their heart and heads in the right place, even if some decisions go wrong

      Cons

      A lot of teething problems and growing pains, and the company is going through a transformative period as they take a step up in terms of size and scope which always brings complications and problems. Promotions into more managerial roles seem to be far more available to colleagues in the US

We are also committed to focusing on career development. With our current WFH scenario, we are more open than ever on having roles in different locations. I encourage you to pursue a Management role regardless of your location and work with your Manager to define that path.
