Culture, Opportunities, Perks, Location. This company is going to retain their employees because they care about them and invest their time and money in them.

Cons

Growing extremely fast, but the company is all about feedback and willing to make changes accordingly.

Pros

Having trouble finding one... the name means something for now In the valley... until they become just another toxic joke of a company who once was important.

Cons

-Extremely toxic culture- high performers get overworked, the leadership plays favorites, promotions are NOT based on performance but on the whim of a HIGHLY biased exec team. -Very male-centric (take a look at their c-level exec team... and NOT the one online... because they leave token females up there to prevent tipping off what’s really going on... the REAL one). -CEO very openly discusses hiring his friends at all-hands meetings- males that do NOT go through proper interview channels. All you have to do it look at the CFO to see those practices in full effect. - Every female leader has been leveled at this company (in the name of “growth”). And others are denied promotions based on... whatever reason they think will prevent them from being sued. - A culture has been created of groupthink all veiled under innovation. -The CEO is a downright liability. Says things off the cuff, writes rambling emails to the entire global org, and is constantly putting his foot in his mouth. - Decisions and company strategy change weekly. It creates uncertainly and whiplash throughout the org.

Thanks for your feedback, and for 3+ years at Flexport. We’re sorry that your experience has not been more positive. Since the beginning, we’ve worked hard to avoid having a ‘bro culture,’ though it’s true that the majority of our small executive team are men. Hopefully you had the chance to read our Q2 Diversity and Inclusion report or attend our Q&A session about it -- we’re working hard to boost the number of women in senior leadership (currently at about 35% but we’d like to see it be much higher). It’s certainly true that, as a hypergrowth company, we have had periods of time in which our teams have worked longer hours than we would like. There has been fatigue. There has been turnover, though we monitor this closely and the rate is consistent with tech industry turnover as a whole. We have made, and will continue to make, significant investments in our employees to empower their growth and development.
