Pros
Flock have been an exceptionally good employer from the moment I started. It has not been easy starting a new job remotely during covid times, but Flock managed to make it an extremely enjoyable and successful experience. There is a phenomenally positive and focused company culture, and the management are brilliant at providing autonomy within our work. I am constantly encouraged to try new things within the company, work on my own creative projects, and to establish a work-life balance that suits me. I spend every day working in an incredibly innovative and exciting industry, learning about impressive international projects and speaking with inspiring people from tech companies all over the world. I have no doubt that the company has both theirs and my own values in mind when it comes to my progression here, and I am very thankful to find such value in my role.
Cons
The only cons that come to mind are ones which apply to all start-ups (though they come with many pro's as a result). Like all start-ups, Flock is still navigating the industry and business world, and so best-practices are still being developed - is this a con? Not really!
