Generous owner, provides benefits that go above and beyond Ample chance for promotion/professional growth Hard work and honesty are rewarded Healthcare paid for, very low increase in rates Leadership recognizes good workers Atmosphere is more positive than it ever has been Hands on leadership, listens to educated opinions/advice

Cons

Sometimes holds on to subpar employees for too long Communication between departments still needs improvement (but it's improving with the hard work of leadership) Most cons associated with the company are from days past

Pros

Contrary to a recent post: * People get themselves fired for a variety of reasons, like falsifying documentation or stealing, for example. * Turnover is the lowest its been in 5 years * Opinions are welcome but should not be taken as gospel. It's up to Leadership, with more background information, to decide how to best proceed. * Employees are paid according to their ability, talent and Team contribution. * It's the owner's prerogative to travel where he likes. The Senior Vice Presidents are tasked with the day to day operation of the Company, who daily communicate with him. Do not misunderstand absence for inactivity. * The owner is one of the most generous in the area. Not just by the benefits he provides us but his commitment to us as people: he is personable, engaged and involved with small details and broad concepts. *I have not experienced unrealistic deadlines. Ability, commitment, talent and drive may have something to do with it. * When I'm here 15 minutes early, there aren't a whole lot of us here.

Cons

The few "20-somethings" that have little work ethic or professionalism. They believe they should be given a raise THEN will do a better job. They would rather complain than be part of the solution. The old adage is true - "The proof is in the pudding".

Pros

Good Benefits. That's really it...

Cons

Where to start? You will only move up in the company if you are willing to kiss a lot of butt. Turnover is terrible. They fire people more often than the sun rises. Will say they care about you... but don't. Upper management is full of fake people who faked their way up there. Will say they want your opinion but will go there own way in the end. If you show up 15 minutes early everyday they wont say a word. But if you come back from lunch 1 minute late you get a stern talking to. Owner is almost never there. Most likely in an African Safari killing some animal. They will replace you in a heartbeat if they think they can pay someone a dime less to do it. Company has a "Drink the Koolaid" mentality. Meaning that you must think with the group and not think for yourself. Unrealistic deadlines. They expect you to do the work of 5 people in one day. If you died and went to Hell, it would take a week for you to realize you were'nt at Foot Levelers anymore.
