Pros

You recieve an employee discount for all footlocker stores. You also get to interact with people all day. You also get paid per hour plus 1% commission, which isn't very much. If someone buys a pair of $100 shoes, you only make a dollar commission. They should really consider increasing the commission percentage, which may in turn motivate employees to sell more.

Cons

It's your basic high school job. You get paid minimum wage and you don't get many hours. Also the stock room was a mess, and it was difficult to find shoes for customers. Managers should regulate the stock room and should regulate the employees who are going back there.

Pros

Lots of commission, nice friendly supervisors usually. Typically the commission is around 3% of sales you make, but you gotta hit the sales quotas. Sometimes they're a bit difficult to hit but usually not that hard. Attractive girls work there too so good luck

Cons

Work is hectic, tight schedules, sales quotas sometimes unreasonable. I sometimes thik they KNOW how much $ you'll hit and purposely put the quota $100/200 higher so you WONT hit it and as a result, get commission.

Pros

Discounts are good to have on the products. Flexable schedule really helps since they are usually open seven days aweek. 401k isn't too bad. It work when very busy(school shopping) but, most times feel like you are justing hanging out having a good time. My location was in a mall, so it was a big party. Shopping is none shop because............it's hot. Uniform isn't too bad, so you don't have to worry about getting clothes ready for your day at work. If you have a crew that likes to go out and party most of the time. You could get more hours.

Cons

Should have a crew who wants to hog hours. Management plays there favorite keys and you are short changed. Ego's can run rapidly on a daily basis with unwanted drama. Some think because they ahve been there a year or more. They are guru's, here to teach you how to make a lifetime journey of being on the floor getting a woman's size 10, into a 7 1/2. Are you kidding me? You not moving up the corporate ladder. Mark downs on items are very little, even when a style is very played out. Some items are very overpriced compared to the competition.
