Pros

Passionate and dedicated employees working on really exciting stuff. It's a great company to grow with, and as the company continues to grow, there's a lot of opportunity to implement new change in the space, the policies, and structure. The office perks are an added bonus - complimentary snacks, catered lunches, great offsite activities and team building.

Cons

Team leads do not micro-manage their employees. This can be difficult for some who need constant direction. If you are the type of person who takes initiative, can run with a project and isn't afraid to ask questions when needed you will do well.

Pros

Fast growing company making amazing products in the 3d printing industry. Extremely focused on creating great products and experiences for customers in hardware, software, and customer support. "Flat" hierarchy means there's lots of room to chase personal passions in relevant work and to work on a variety of different things. Great perks like catered lunches three times a week, well stocked snacks, bike storage and on-site showers for bike commuters, gym discounts, all-company vacations, weekly happy hours, and really great parties.

Cons

The company is growing fast and eschews traditional corporate hierarchy and that means sometimes the growing pains are readily apparent from over-packed lunch rooms to miscommunications to rapid priority switches.

Pros

Formlabs is a great company to work for - awesome product, talented colleagues, interesting/innovative customers, international, playful, and informal. We have a boulder wall in the office, frequent BBQs/ cocktail nights, 2 electric scooters, an amazing Greek caterer, and tons of creative/bright minds in both offices.

Cons

As the Atlantic ocean separates our both offices (Berlin & Boston), we are facing the challenge to share knowledge/resources in an efficient, beneficial way. The Berlin office struggles with quickly collecting knowledge/resources/support from the US. However, everyone is aware of this gap and we all started to improve information flows. We are visiting each others offices more often and we have integrated, global teams since a couple of weeks.
