Pros

Decent pay once you got top pay.

Cons

If you are not a white male or have any relatives that work there then you have no chance on moving up in the company. And they will do whatever to take your vacation from you.

Pros

Biggest pro is that they are pretty flexible with school when if/when it interferes with your normal working hours. You can start on the floor here and end up anywhere.

Cons

This pros are a bit of a double edged sword here. As the general consensus is that it feels like there is little room for economic growth especially if you started on the floor. You start getting expected to take promotions with little or no raise. Or the case is that you just start getting pegged as able to do a job above your pay grade and in turn just expected to do it.

We are glad to see that flexibility has been a valuable benefit, as well as the opportunity to grow in a variety of directions once you join the company. In terms of pay, we appreciate your feedback. We regularly review compensation and adjust where we see a shift in the market. While the pandemic put that activity on pause in 2020, we were glad to get it back on track in 2021 and trust you appreciated the increase as much as the rest of our Fort Wayne Metals family. Thanks again for your feedback, and for all you do!

Be careful

Pros

Decent benefits. Cleaner than other factories.

Cons

Be very wary if you’re not white. Everyone is related to someone and word will travel quick if anyone has anything to say about you, even if it’s not true and they will always trust each other over an “outsider”. If you’re not white, just keep to yourself and don’t say too much to anyone. It’ll be much easier that way.
