Pros

Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts company is great. Good benefits and pay.

Cons

The Surf Club Hotel & Spa Surfside, FL, needs help with their managers. The newly opened property lost 50% of their staff in the first year.

Thanks for this invaluable feedback. We are glad that you appreciated some of our great benefits including Complimentary Room Stays, staff meals and our competitive compensation packages. Work life balance can seem illusive at times in the hospitality industry, but we are committed to finding ways to make it possible for our employees to find the balance that works for them. We can’t say that we’ve solved the issue yet, but we are committed to doing everything we can to address it creatively and looking for ways to make it better for all of our employees. We appreciate you lending your voice to this important issue. You are right; Complimentary Rooms are a great benefit but a program that needs updating. Please rest assured we are working hard on some updates to make it easier to request rooms for everyone and experience what sets us apart in terms of providing exceptional personal service. We wish you all the best where you are now and thank you for your time with us! Alexandra Human Resources – Home Office

Thank you for sharing some insights of your time with us. Complimentary “Comp” nights are a wonderful way to experience Four Seasons service, but you are right, there is room for us to improve this program. Please rest assured we are working hard on some updates to make it easier to request rooms and experience what sets us apart in terms of providing exceptional personal service. Thank you for calling out the Golden Rule as an important value that we all strive to adhere to and uphold. I am sorry to hear that you have had experiences with management that have not lived up to this goal. I would encourage you to share your feedback with anyone on your local leadership team via our Open Door policy or with your HR team so that they might work towards a better experience for you and your colleagues. Wishing you all the very best. Alexandra Human Resources – Home Office
