Pros

You work in a beautiful environment

Cons

You get to see the worst of humanity. Guests are rude and classless. I have never seen human beings treat others trying to serve them so terribly and with such disdain. Your coworkers are spineless and mediocre. I worked there thinking it would be a great industry to get into and get a degree in hotel management, but I realized no one there had any ambition. Regardless of your position you are nothing more than an indentured servant. There is a great difference between offering sincere customer service and servitude.

Pros

Once in a lifetime experience with working with a wonderful service culture, passionate artisans of hospitality, and a successful brand.

Cons

You will develop a VERY LOW tolerance for sub standard service & will not be able to enjoy staying/dining in any round-of-the-mill establishment. Once you drink of the "kool aide", nothing will measure up to the experience once creates as part of the Four Seasons.

Pros

Great brand recognition, employees a pleasure to work with. Comp room benefits allow stays at the most beautiful hotels in fabulous locations.

Cons

Senior management is allowing the culture which made Four Seasons so special as a hotel and as an employer to weaken. Mixed messages make it a stressful place to work. Senior managers are more focused on their climb up the ladder instead of ensuring the success of the hotels and others.
