Terribly poor experience workly with Fractal's under performing account payables team

Pros

Good company to work except for AP team

Cons

There is no timeline to our reimbursement. Account payables function with lack of responsibility and ownership. They act no less than goons, and if there is anything to be claimed as reimbursement, it would easily take more than 4 months and that too at the mercy of the payables officer. Worst possible experience so far co-ordinating with finance team. Average officers with below average communication skill. It is totally affecting my overall experience of working with fractal. I don't have any grudge with them, but I am amazed by the way they function themselves as a unit (totally inefficient), and aren't even worried about their performance.

Pros

1) Company pushes you to up skill 2) Company gives you a free hand in consulting and data science methods 3) Company provides flexible timings 4) Very people friendly policies 5) Great leadership and visionary folks 6) Client first, Fractal second, Team next, You last - policy is great

Cons

1) IT dept is a big problem. Short staffed, slow in response and poorly handled 2) Some grades are redundant. No clear distinction between 7 and 6. 3) The concept of AI + Enng + Design is great. But don't think we have a great culture of engineering as yet... Struggling in hand shake and ownership

Cons

Rusted mindset and egoistic Middle Management. Your skills and good thinking capability doesn't matter if you've hurt the ego of your manager and also if your manager doesn't understand the work he/she will keep pleasing toxic clients.
