      Absolutely the worst job I’ve ever had in my pretty long career. Unmanageable case load, overdemanding clients and a CYA mentality between colleagues. Everyone is just trying to survive, there is no team work and no real leadership whatsoever. Constant micromanagement. Management cares more about mundane issues rather than the well being of the staff. Constant turnover of employees. The caseload, unrealistic deadlines, micromanagement, fault blaming and the lack of work life balance puts a real toll on your mental health. No self respecting individual should work here!

      Pros

      You will learn how to get things done without asking for help. You have no choice but to figure it out. Sink or swim. It will be the most intense job you've ever had.

      Cons

      You will live in fear of making a mistake. Everyone is so afraid that they are throwing each other under the bus regularly. If you work as an Admin for the team, don't be surprised if they have you doing paralegal work too. There is no end to the amount of work they will pile on you.

      cool coworkers but everyone in upper management is unhelpful and rude

      if you can avoid working here please do. they do not disclose the long and unmanageable work load and hours to you before hiring. upper management is very rude and snobby and take their stress of a workload and put it on you. I cannot emphasize the terrible work/life balance you will not have a chance to live life and work here at the same time. I had nights where I couldn't sleep due to the stress of the workload waiting for me the next morning. you can find another immigration law firm to work at that won't stress you out and will definitely pay you a lot more for your time and efforts!
