An unpleasant place to work.

Pros

Generous salary and benefits for an entry level position. This a good place to work in order to get experience on your resume or save up some money before heading to law school. The attorneys are fun and friendly.

Cons

The paralegals are generally rude and miserable people who think they are superior to all other administrative staff. If you are under the age of 30, prepare to be treated like a "kid" who is a complete idiot.

Pros

Short hours, 7.5...so where are all the 'hard-working' people if they are having the April blitz and needed to hire extras?. Nice building.

Cons

I've NEVER been fired in my long career but after reading the other reviews, this looks like par for the course with this company and I could have written those other reviews as my own. I knocked out the paperwork in a few minutes, very easy to do, just idiot work filling out process stuff and I begged for more but they didn't have it. Ended up with grunt work. Very strange experience. If you aren't a 'kid' and 'ethnic' I think you won't fit in. Every time I went by people in their cubes they were playing on their cell phones or with dolls or something. I'm there to work.

Pros

Great base pay plus over time. Fair contribution towards benefits. Company did some fun activities for employees.

Cons

This position was exceedingly stressful. Really not worth it unless you really need a job. You do all your own filing, copying, and collating. I spent just as much time doing that secretarial work as the real paralegal work. You'll spend a lot of time writing very boring support letters on topics which you'll hardly understand which makes it even more boring and awful. The other paralegals there are very young and have a catty attitude making it an unfriendly place at times. The management think you're a robot and assign very heavy case loads. Monthly billing goals were unrealistic.
