      Review of my working experience in Freeport-McMoRan

      Pros

      The work environment is good. Every office has its door open almost the whole day. People are nice and always willing to help you. And everything works as it should, the tasks are carried out in an orderly manner. The tasks chain works through an information system, so everything that you need will go to the right person and it´s all registered.

      Cons

      Freeport is a good company, a respected one and the only cons I can see are the same that are in most of the companies in this moment. They are using technology to improve every process they do, that really works good and helps a lot, but they are in the process of adapting and sometimes its hard for people who have worked for years using their one manual and hand made systems, that they refuse to adapt another one, or it is hard for them because they see it more as an obstacle than as a tool to improve the processes. But that adapting problem is seen by the upper employees that are in charge, and they know the potential of technology so they just need time to make the rest adapt.
