Pros

Health insurance, co workers, 401k, product is light overall

Cons

Long Hours, not much chance at advancement, everyone more or less makes within $5-$6 per hour of each other, whether you’re a new employee, or have been with the company for 15 yrs

Pros

Frito lay has good benefits including 401K, PTO, sick days, discounts on chips, plus a pension after 5 years of employment. I do not feel like I am being micromanaged or someone is constantly over my shoulder. As long as you do your job, keep your area clean, low waste you will not be bothered much. Managers praise when you do a good job. I can tell management is doing their best to improve the company overall with the recent changes they have been making in the company.

Cons

Forced overtime when short staffed. 8 hour shifts could turn into 12 hour shifts and 5 day work weeks can turn into 6-7 day work weeks. You can request your 7th day off so you will always at least have one day off a week. Management has been hiring to fill in spots to cut down overtime over the past year which has helped. Drama can be an issue but that is anywhere you go. Learn to avoid it and not let people bother you in a negative way.

Pros

The pay is the only pro here

Cons

Overworked, management seems to make their own rules & incorporates old rules to benefit them, not enough staffing, the only way to get a day off is to call in, you will definitely be working 6 days in a row & only have 1 day off, say goodbye to any "real" days off if you work 3rd shift! You work so much you make yourself sick. It's the same people over & over being forced to work, the people who have senority work overtime the least, things are not fixed at this company, everything just gets "bandaid" until someone gets hurt. Maintenance is the worst here, they get upset & vocal when they are called to look at anything. Half of the time they don't even show up. They say they complete orders without them actually completing them. You basically struggle all day with what you're givin to work with. You have people making rules that can't even go out on the floor & run a machine for 2 seconds. They pick & choose when to worry about a quality issue/concern. Management would rather their facility to look nice than to actually invest in the thing that actually makes the big bucks which is their machines! Nothing is done here with any thought if the employee. They continue to add extra things on you as if you're not already overwhelmed by the things you already have to do. They don't care about you @ all or your well being. You will be just another number to them!
