Pros

Great compensation and benefits but that’s it.

Cons

No growth opportunities, as a salesman you will never make over 75k no matter how long you stay with the company as it is capped. Upper management is always college kids with little to no knowledge of retail. the company offers them sign on bonuses and pays them 70k to keep from promoting its employees and paying them more (this saves them money) which in turn leads DSLs to quit I had 8 DSLs in my 2 year tenure in Charlotte mind you this is my district this doesn’t include the other 2 based out of south Charlotte there is no since of belonging or value as a salesmen your pay is based of previous years numbers and has nothing to do with sales it is there to make you work as hard as possible for as little as possible or whatever the company’s deems a fair salary you will never have weekends off unless you have 20 plus years with the company and even now the company is slowly doing away with Monday through Friday routes you will work for every penny you earn and I do mean penny Frito lay used to be a great company who actually valued there employees now it’s nothing more than working you as much as they can to make themselves more money

Pros

decent money for only a HS education

Cons

Very difficult to have a work/life balance. Also getting promoted to a DM can be difficult, they would rather high a 22 year old college kid then a seasoned vet.

Pros

Pay Bonus Benefits Flexibility Stepping Stone Technology equipment provided

Cons

When interviewed for the position, they were not fully clear I would be handling roles outside of the one I was applying for. There’s call ins from employees then you must work the stores yourself if no coverage is available. A district manager is out for a while then you must help cover their district as well. Moral of the story, staffing will always be an issue which will lead to a poor work life balance.
