Pros

Work from home, flexible hours. Life changing experiences. Well rounded teams. Paid time off. 401k. Employee discounts on tech and data services. Local managers who care about their teams needs and markets.

Cons

Unrealistic goals set with unrealistic numbers to show potential earned amounts for over achievements. Bad comp plans. Comp plan shows accelerated amounts based off yearly numbers being 200% to plan vs providing what 100 % looks like. Lots of information to guess at. Year after year major comp changes removing pay for same work. deceiving a plan to say you can make more in reality you lose approximately 10 to 20k in over all. Not competitive with pricing, capital issues.

Pros

Decent health benefits, 8% matching 401k

Cons

Poor Management, totally overworked and underpaid. They run their business like it was a mom and pop shop when it's supposed to be an enterprise company. They will work you like a dog and you are not at all appreciated. People who do nothing get don't get fired and people who are hard workers don't get rewarded. You only get a 2% yearly raise IF YOU'RE LUCKY! If you get promoted don't count on a raise of more than 5% because it's not going to happen. Started in a lower position and got promoted and only made a dollar more. Looked up the starting salary of my title and it was THOUSANDS higher than I was making. Told them about it an they promised me another raise on my 6 month review and never gave it to me.

Pros

The pay--for the amount of experience required--is good. Collective bargaining employees get good benefits. After five years, union employees get four weeks of vacation.

Cons

No upward mobility No care given to improve employees or help them advance No plan in place to advance capable employees in their careers. I have a master's degree that no one cares about--company paid for it and couldn't care less that I got it--it has not helped me in my career at all because nepotism and cronyism rule here.
