Transition from Verizon to Frontier started rocky, however has become a company I am proud to be a part of.
Pros
I recieve positive leadership from my direct supervisor all the way up to VP level management. I am treated with respect and believe I am an integral part of the organization. I have received yearly raises and with 30 years of telecom service I receive 6 weeks of Paid Time Off. Also going all the way up to the President of our company, we are urged to have a life outside of work. We should be committed employees, but not at the cost of our family and friends. I have worked for Illinois Bell, AT&T, Indiana Bell, GTE, and Verizon and I have never received that message from them, way to go Maggie Wilderotter.
Cons
Everyone has so much to handle due to downsizings and no replacements when an employee leaves the company. When I take Paid Time Off, I don't feel like my backup can effectively do my job as well as their own responsibilities.
