Pros
If you have a union job, the health benefits and mandatory OT pay are the only positives but don't kid yourself, because the pay is not much to begin with.
Cons
The union pay has shrunk so much that unless you live down the street by yourself in a broom closet, you can find better pay somewhere else. because forget about having enough money for gas, or a car payment, no way are you going to support a family on the starting wage. The hours suck also because you get the late hours shifts with no calls yet you're held to the same quota as the ones who've been there for years and have better hours and more calls to make your sales.
