Pros

Globalization Partners is a small, virtual organization, all employees work remotely. If you don’t enjoy working from home 100% of the time, this isn’t the right company for you. The organization is experiencing rapid growth, it is a very fast-paced, high-volume, (low control) environment. The team is great to work with but there is definitely some room for improvement in terms of management.

Cons

Low work-life balance, there is an expectation to be available 24x7, working odd hours due to the international environment is part of the job but you should set boundaries and not create the expectation that your employees be available all the time, this will promote a more productive and healthy workplace. Stressful work environment as a result of inadequate management.

This review was taken to heart as we saw the great value of this feedback. Since this review was written, GP began to hire well ahead of our growth curve and to invest more heavily in training. Our policy is to hire today based on our 6-month forecast so that we have plenty of time to train people to meet our rigorous client service requirements. It is also important to note that we no longer allow more junior associate team members to work remotely. To the person who wrote this review: thank you for your contribution to GP while you were here. We appreciated you being part of our story, and wish you the best for the future.

Pros

- The culture is very supportive - The CEO is not only a great leader but a genuinely kind person. Not something you'll often find comes as a package. - The CRO genuinely wants to pay people. - There is a ton of career growth potential. - We sell a product that we can feel good about. - Ask about the CEO's triple bottom line approach to business where success is not only managed by financial achievement. - It's a faced paced, fast-growing company. If you love a challenge, this is the place to be. - The pay is competitive for the role. - Benefits are exceptionally good. In my personal experience, I have never worked for an organization with this type of culture. I would not normally write a review, however, I recently suffered a tragedy in my family and it's difficult to sum up the level of support I received, from my peers all the way up to the CEO. It's a cliche I know (normally I would gag at a sentence like this) but this place really does feel like a family because when things go pear-shaped, they step up to help you as a family would.

Cons

It's not like there is nothing challenging about working here, but there is no con that stands out as outside of normal work. You will still have to show up and work hard to hit your own goals. The coffee machine isn't great I suppose, but there are a ton of cool snacks.
