Pros

GP focuses a lot on building an inspiring and motivating workforce. Nicole is a super star CEO who leads by example, and at the same time is extremely approachable. Everyone has a direct impact and investment in the success of GP, and in turn GP wants to invest in the individual growth and learning of their employees. The work is fascinating and the people are a pleasure to work with. I feel lucky to work here. Our benefits are truly amazing. We have tons of vacation and a management team that appreciates work life balance. Recently the medical benefit package was greatly enhanced to fortune 500 benefits. There are great maternity and paternity benefits. 401k is wonderful. And las but not least on your 5 year anniversary you can have a 1 month paid sabbatical!

Cons

While I do not have any cons personally, the work environment might not be the right fit for everyone. You have to be comfortable with change and lot of it. The business seems completely different every 3 months. In fact, we call 3 months a year “GP years”. I love this, especially because the change is intentional improvements to the company that everyone has a large say in.

Dear Colleague - thank you so much for your review! We're happy you enjoyed working with GP. Because the "con" was stated simply, I wanted to add some context for people who are considering joining our team. Globalization Partners has always offered excellent benefits, including health benefits, which were offered even to our first employee. However, we initially gave tax-free allowances to employees which was made feasible by the state exchanges in Massachusetts and California. Some employees loved it, because they received coverage of their choice which they could purchase even if their spouse's plan covered most of their cost. Some disliked it, as this colleague did, because the Massachusetts exchange was sometimes frustrating to use. As of 2017, we joined a world-class employer plan which covers all US states and does not rely on the exchanges. We currently offer excellent health benefits, as well as 401k match, 4 weeks paid leave and other benefits. Thank you again for posting a review!

Pros

Management team is outstanding. They are open to changing processes to better fit the needs of their employees and always have an open door policy. All of the employees are team players. Globalization Partners has an amazing collaborative atmosphere and a work hard play hard attitude!

Cons

Job perks are great but benefits are lacking a bit. This is a work in progress that is being addressed. The company is still in its early stages so there is a lot of work to do and at times it feels like we could use a couple more people on board to help balance the workload.
