      Remote work, many great co-workers

      Cons

      Unstable CEO who can't take ownership of her own mistakes. Revolving door in senior leadership: the COO, CHRO, CEO and CRO have all been fired or quit in the 18 months. Constantly shifting priorities. Everything is a fire drill.

      Working remote and getting paid well if you're in the U.S.

      Cons

      Single-minded, 'personal opinion' strategy pivots that change quarterly with each new leader. Promoting unprepared people as a last resort effort after layoffs render teams unsound. Related: promotions and salary increases are opaque and sometimes lied about. Bragging about unbroken string of record profits after each layoff.

      Some great people still work there.

      Cons

      No job security. Major layoffs seem to happen every year. They turn through executives at a high rate and therefore are constantly changing strategies. Overall poor leadership, and the vibe is chaotic. Zero job security. The competition has diversified their product, adapted quicker to market conditions, and moved in quickly to gain massive marketshare. Employee morale not great. I do not see much upside, At the end of the day the technology is not that innovative.
