Tell me if a company really cares for their employees if how they perform a layoff is this way: 1. Continue spending on events abroad, fly people to different countries for team buildings, and during these events talk about how the company is "doing well" and "the future looks great" 2. Suddenly, one day, all in the same day, set a meeting with the exiting employee, and tell them they are being laid off right before the Christmas holidays, without zero explanation on what or why this happened, and tell them that same day is their last day. 3. The HR is obviously reading a script when telling you you are being laid off - no empathy whatsoever. 4. No light on how the company chose who will stay and go, tenured ones who had setup the company foundations got laid off while those who have been in the company less than 3 months got to stay. 5. Because there was no company announcement when the layoffs happened, current employees kept asking the exiting employees what was happening. Imagine getting laid off already, then having to deal with the stress of multiple colleagues asking you what happened and if they are part of it all, while you also have no idea yourself. Also, aside from the massive layoff, GP started becoming political and bureaucratic when the management changed. The executives are good at spouting flowery words, but truth be told you can't understand their vision or even the rationale behind their decisions. Do not get employed here if you want job security.
