Pros

The people are good. There is no micro management

Cons

They talk a lot about culture but they laid off more than 100 employees and some of those employees were the hardest workers in the team and also they called people who were on vacations to let them know they were being laid off so yeah it's all big talk no show

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your time at G-P. We are glad that you appreciated the quality of our people and our leadership approach. However, your comment about our culture as it relates to our business realignment late last year concerns us. We are committed to living our values honestly and transparently always, and how we approached our realignment was no different. These decisions are never easy, but they were made with the sole intention of aligning our teams to our multi-year plan. No employees were singled out due to tenure or performance. Even though less than 10% of our team was impacted globally, we know that everyone was affected differently. We do take your comments about open and honest communication seriously and strive to do so in accordance with our values. We hope that you made good use of the resources provided and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

A catastrophic company

Pros

They have an ok tech stack, SFDC, Slack, Highspot, but also use Outlook.

Cons

Horrendous product to sell. Clunky, dated, old fashioned, over-priced, lack of support. Competitors are offering a far better service for half the price, and reps are being blamed for losing deals. Company has no identity, they’ve hired cheap and are trying to pretend they are a tech company but it’s all so fake. SLT are dinosaurs. Salaries are about 70% of what competitors are paying. No share options. Revenue leaders are an absolute embarrassment, most joined as sales reps 3/4 years ago and have now clogged up junior and middle management positions with absolutely no experience. Some absolute spoofers in there reading blogs and LinkedIn posts and trying to pass it off as training. So transparent. Zero accountability from managers and “sales directors”. Pointed fingers at reps for their org doing about 20% of quota and sacked about 10% of staff in November and are advertising their jobs already. The epitome of a toxic culture.

Thank you for posting about your experiences as a G-P employee. Your comments around culture, management, and training concern us as they are not consistent with our values and our leadership principles – or with our approach to learning and development. The realignment of our teams that you reference was not a decision we took lightly. Our path forward necessitated that we better align our teams with our multi-year plan. And although it impacted less than 10% of our team globally, we know that it was significant for every person it affected – including our current employees. Since you are still with G-P, we encourage you to participate in our upcoming all-employee survey to ensure your voice is heard. Additionally, we invite you to take this conversation offline by emailing us glassdoor@globalization-partners.com. We will connect you with the right internal resources to address the root causes of your concerns. Wishing you the best going forward.

Pros

A company that really cares about it's people. An industry that is going from strength to strength with G-P as the leader. Very dynamic in how the company pivots and develops it's strategy. Best company I have ever worked for

Cons

The company is evolving and with this brings change that some people do not like. For those willing to embrace it, it is all positive change.
