Pros

Terrific product-market fit, further propelled by WFH/remote work during the pandemic Great training WFH culture is terrific

Cons

Too much fluff and Koolaid drinking--no one really speaks their mind. It's just the same phrases repeated over and over again (way to go, so proud to be on the dream team, what an amazing time!). Yes, it's a good company, but groupthink is also a powerful deterrent to meaningful discourse and progress. Management constantly talks about how much they care about their employees but people are underpaid by market standards anywhere from 20-50%. Colleagues are referred to as being part of the "Dream Team" but despite raising $200M+ in funding, no one except maybe the early starters was granted equity. Hard to stay invested in the success of the company if they only try to keep you around with a spontaneous cookbook or Bose speaker (good sound, but it's not really the same). Favorites are also chosen for advancement--it really depends who your manager is and how much (or how little) they will fight for you. It also comes down to how liked you are by your sales leader. Pretty good chance they might hold a petty grudge and stymie your advancement deliberately. Imagine you end your year top 5 as a sales rep and then are told you are not ready for additional responsibility.
