Pros

Flexible, internal growth opportunity was excellent, salary was competitive compared to others in the industry, fast paced environment, people development was critical.

Cons

If you like chaos, this is where you want to work. Their customer is very challenging, demands change almost daily. HR dept is weak, love to support the hourly employee, but the salaried get cut early.

Pros

Visibility to owner and upper management, management seems to treat people with mutual respect, small company that seems to value its employees.

Cons

Parts of the business unstable due to customer re-sourcing work to other suppliers. Low pay for the work. Most of the work was outsourced because it was not ideal to begin with.

Pros

Great benefits, good corporate environment. I like my department and all the people that I directly work with. No issues my division.

Cons

Operations/Safety/Recuiting have very different goals. In order to make money you have to spend money. The workforce development could be so much better. G&D has all the potential to be a great place to work, they just need to spend some time and money. Time to recognize the people who matter.
