      Pay is good and exceeds most in area Work schedule flexibility Commute Community involvement

      World Class "GE training" is a myth...reserved for high potential leaders It's all about production and making the numbers with a veil of Integrity Short term Thinking...leaders will put thier metrics in front of the overall right thing to do 2010 health benefits...a joke 401 K ... all GE options...pathetic Be prepared to walk the grey line and challenge yoru personal integrity on a dialy basis.

      Poor place to work

      Pros

      Their training is recognized as being some of the best. I would suggest going there for two years after undergrad, get the training you can get, and then leave.

      Cons

      Very poor management with minimal training/giftedness in leading others. Most leaders lead by fear instead of grace. There is more work than can physically be handled by people, yet you have to do it all and without proper resources to get it done. If you are ethical about completing your work properly you will be disciplined for speaking up about it.

      Pros

      GE can be a great place to work if you work in the right department with the right people. Most people you work with are smart so it makes getting work done relatively easy.

      Cons

      The compensation is a little low for the amount of work done. They expect a lot of work out of eedps with low compensation
