      Pros

      Some good people are around, you have to look hard...especially for good managers. There are some good projects that will help you gain experience or exposure to new technologies or disciplines. Lots of good technical resources within the staff.

      Cons

      The culture within the western United States offices is toxic. Management is untrustworthy from project managers up to principals. This company is entrenched in oil and gas and is eating its own to survive.

      Pros

      Aspiring Civil Engineers who recently graduated from good schools will do well. They get preferential treatment from management.

      Cons

      No respect for Senior Engineers. Senior engineers often feel like their voice doesn't matter, and they are upset that most of the work goes to the young kids. Also, below market pay.

      Got to be part of GHD "old boys network" to advance career All executive and senior leaders have been at the company for many many years and are not open to new ideas or new talent Can say that they are transforming the company but are not following through with actions Turning the company into a sweat shop, trying to get every last once of utilization out of everyone Not willing to invest for the future
