Lots of room for advancement, opportunity to gain project management skills and technical skills for a variety of areas (waste-to-energy, energy efficiency, sustainable waste management). Company is employee owned, meaning corporate decisions are not made to please external shareholders. Lots of opportunity for on-the-job training and professional development.

Cons

Large company across Canada means you start as a little fish in a big pond. Overtime is often expected (and compensated for), and I see a lack of work-life balance in some of my superiors.
