Pros

Decent discount, commission can add up if you work at a busy store, getting to help customers feel better about themselves and seeing them achieve goals is a good feeling.

Cons

Everything else. If you love wasting a ridiculous amount of paper and love doing paper work you’ll have more than enough to keep you busy. And when your done with all the paper work you can look forward to an upcoming conference call because there are I believe 4 a week. They also tend to add them last minute and cancel them unexpectedly and the way to be notified it through the email, which tends to get hard to keep track of all day when you have single coverage and it’s busy. It can get pretty lonely since they really only have enough time for single coverage shifts. Which can be hard for new employees when they have questions. It’s hard to keep part time employees who have knowledge with nutrition because of how low the pay can be especially during slow shifts or slow stores. The also love to collect their daily stats by having you hand track every metric (which can be hard to keep track of during busy times) if you don’t send in your numbers by a certain time they call, they don’t care if you are the only one in the store and you’re the only one there. If I had a dollar for every time I wasted time doing pointless things for GNC I wouldn’t ever need a job ever again. Honestly 10/10 would recommend try working for a different company.
