Pros

The test is outstanding and is truly a step in the right direction for cancer detection and care

Cons

Leadership isn't well trained and many in management positions have had ZERO experience leading any team much less a successful team. The company operates in silos with the left and the right not knowing what's going on. Many of the department heads aren't even familiar with local laws. They don't value the skills you were brought on instead they like to play favorites which often leads to bullying and gossip.

Pros

Great innovative product! Grail takes good care of its employees but still needs more work…

Cons

There’s a lot of toxicity within this company. Favoritism and politics are keys to your success here. I’ve seen people get promoted and also fired for not aligning with management. If you are not within their circle then you will become an outlier to management. Leadership should take accountability for their team. It’s pretty much non-existent. Feedback is considered as a threat rather than helping the team grow. Management takes it personal to the point where they are asking who said that? And pointing fingers to make a person feel bad when management should be taking in this feedback to be a better leader. As a leader, you need to lead by example and GRAIL fails to do that due to inexperience and young leaders. Like any company, a lot of changes take awhile to implement. But that should stray away from our clients and employees.

Pros

Pay is good, mission is important, some really smart people around

Cons

People get promoted for sucking up and being relentlessly positive in public, even if they are falling behind and making major mistakes behind the scenes. Lack of communication from the top. HR does not advocate for employees at all.
