Understaffing and no work life balance

Department was never adequately staffed leading to unfair expectations and working 7 days a week responding to issues This issue was constant in other departments as well Inadequate training- the company relies primarily on prerecorded training and when new associates ask for direction they’re told to go hunt down. However much of the information is not updated or consistent. They try to sell new hires on growth opportunity but they won’t offer a promotion until you’re resigning unless you know the right people. There’s little diversity at the upper levels of the company.

Pay was decent, good benefits.

Cons

I caught supervisors and others in leadership positions gossiping about employees like it was high school. My own supervisor never responded after putting in my 2 weeks notice. Limited opportunities for growth and limited scope of duties in your position.
