Pros

Co-workers and supervisors alike are great people to work with. Gate City focuses on team building, which I really enjoy. There is a lot of support and opportunities to move up if this is the job that you want to work at as a full-time career. The bank has a very strong culture, and is very flexible when it comes to a work-life balance. 'Fun days' and 'Jeans days' are a regular occurrence.

Cons

Often feel overlooked as a part-time employee. The training process can feel very overwhelming at times to new employees. Corporate demand for 'arts and crafts' related to product tracking can be frustrating and take critical time away from getting your real job done.

They provide respectable benefits and a good working atmosphere for their employees. It is also a very community driven company

Cons

There is not a lot of room for movements and promotions. Gate City Bank is growing but due to the very low turnover, opening positions are sparse.
