Pros

Decent cash benefits, sometimes, decent PTO. You get some decent benefits during the holidays. And the 401k is pretty good as well.

Cons

It's hard to move up. That's the disadvantage of a "small town" bank. Some managers can be micromanaging. They're also a big fan of shops, which are stupid. They seem almost stuck behind in the times. This is also the last bank to close during the day, and they hardly ever get any holidays off. It's a bank, not a convince store.

Great, but maybe too small

Pros

I feel like my boss, and my bosses boss, actually know who I am and care about me as a person and an employee. Benefits are great if you're full time.

Cons

Advancement isn't only about ability or even seniority. It's very dependent upon openings becoming available; the downside of a "small", community bank.
