      Pros

      Large company with lots of resources for furthering your education. Lots of room for lateral movement between departments and jobs

      Cons

      Typical large corporation only cares about making a profit and the bottom line. The company's mission statement is literally "to give our shareholders a fair profit" so kind of hard to rally around that reason to exist.

      Complex projects Team style project work Work is technical and requires relationships with department of defense counterparts and communications. Great benefits.

      Cons

      Weak management organization skills and management is not consistent throughout. Weak employee ensentive programs which do no motivate better quality work or improved progress
