Pros

401K and work from home (depending on what you do)

Cons

Very toxic. They expect you to work long hours. You're work-life balance will be out of wack leaving you no time for yourself. It is not uncommon to log in at 11pm and see other people online working as well. You are constantly micro-managed by managers even though they often play a role that they do not micro-manage. Managers are suppose to lead but take advantage of the system but still expect you to over work. Not much team work, people very competitive in a sneaky way. Did i say toxic? You would think HR could assist but they do not help much at all, they do what's best to make the company "look good." Also, GDMS claims to be a diverse company but rarely hire other race besides caucasians, unless they need to meet a quota.

Pros

Interesting hardware and good knowledgeable co-workers.

Cons

No wfh. Teams only stay together until end of project. Constantly reminded of repercussions of getting time reporting wrong. "We had to let people go because of incorrect time reporting" was brought up at every all-hands. 10% doing fun development. 90% Going through motions of the required rigid process due to being gov defense contractor.

Pros

Great individuals and teams trying hard to deliver for their customers.

Cons

Unfocused leadership struggling to build new business. The BD functions are in disarray without focused, innovative leadership. They lose bids because they cannot effectively formulate a strategy and express it. They rely on existing contracts and embedded business and lack the new business funding to effectively compete. Very poor at attracting and maintaining talented people. The HR organization, particularly recruiting, is
