      Worked for 10 years as a software engineer here. Huge company with good pay and benefits. Bad corporate culture.

      Pros

      Great vacation, health benefits, work schedule and pay. Interesting problems to solve. Opportunity to get a clearance which might open doors down the road with other defense companies.

      Cons

      The vacation hours, health benefits, and schedule flexibility got progressively worse over the 10 years I worked there in order to "be more competitive". Some years they froze pay increases company wide. Huge company with inflexible policies that dictate everything. Numerous layers of management that get progressively more out of touch with operations the higher they go, but are more empowered to make sweeping decisions and frequently do. Training program was a bad joke. IT department blocks employees from using most useful tools.

      Pros

      Interesting and cutting edge projects for a time but these were deemed too risky as the focus turned towards system integration and larger projects. There is currently a large re-organisation underway which is what is needed to address the problems but it could mean that the smaller sites are at risk of being closed.

      Cons

      Mismanaged recently departed management team, inconsistent and incoherent strategies. Short sighted decisions have left the company with very little product to build on.

      Good pay and benefits, great people and work environment, flexible work schedule, challenging and interesting work, nice health center, business rebounding

      Cons

      Our primary customer, government, has had budget issues creating business challenges and fierce competition. IT rules too restrictive and antiquated
