Pros

Went through the Dev10 program, and for the most part it was pretty fantastic. They don't micromanage, trust you to do your job properly, and the training was great. The program is a great opportunity if you don't have a technical background but want to get into the field. Sure the pay isn't what you would normally make in the roles you get but it's an in that you would otherwise be paying tons of money to get a second degree for.

Cons

The one repeated frustration was the promise of receiving updates for potential contract roles at a specific time and repeatedly not hearing anytime when the time came. Even if the lack of updates was due to sluggishness from one of their clients, they never communicated that. It would just be radio silence for up to a few weeks afterwards and you had to bug them to get any sort of update. This also wasn't a problem isolated to one person.

What a thoughtful review! Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. You’re probably right that communication issues may have originated with the client, but as you mentioned that doesn’t excuse our team from communicating that message to our Dev10 Associates. We shared your comments with our Dev10 team. We are all about continuous improvement. Best of luck in your new career as a junior software developer!

Pros

looking for late paychecks only

Cons

They don't pay their people on time. It took 3 months to get my first paycheck. I didn't get my last paycheck in a timely fashion either. They think state pay period laws don't apply to them. Their benefits are really lousy and very expensive and restrictive. Management pays favorites with their staff and hires people who are inexperienced and immature.

Pros

-Bi-weekly paycheck that pays the bills -Bi-weekly paycheck that pays the bills -Bi-weekly paycheck that pays the bills -Bi-weekly paycheck that pays the bills

Cons

- Sub market rate for senior PM - Ridiculous attendance policy for an all phone and computer work position as customer not local + Company must get paid for having DC where experienced PM's are forced to work from - Morale is low - No advancement - Horrible benefits, PTO, etc. - Out dated equipment - If you need it, Gen10 has HR policy that says they don't provide - Have nerve to say if need it buy it or bring it from home - No attempt by recruiters to get PM's converted ever - I'll stop there, as could go on and on
